The FUJIFILM X-H2S is a versatile mirrorless camera that excels in both photography and videography. It incorporates a newly developed X-Trans stacked sensor, enhanced autofocus and subject detection capabilities, and impressive 6.2K video recording. Building upon the renowned intuitiveness, design, and image quality of FUJIFILM, the X-H2S offers a fresh and speedy approach to continuous shooting and video applications.

Advanced Sensor and Processing:

X-Trans 5 Stacked BSI Sensor: The X-H2S features a 26.1MP APS-C-format X-Trans 5 stacked back-illuminated (BSI) sensor, delivering improved readout speeds and low-light performance. The unique X-Trans sensor minimizes moiré and enhances color rendering, while the BSI design reduces noise and enhances tonality and clarity. The stacked architecture minimizes rolling shutter and motion distortion for high-speed photo and video shooting.

X-Processor 5: The camera is equipped with the powerful X-Processor 5, utilizing 64-bit processing for three times faster performance compared to the X-T4. This enables 6.2K video recording with high bitrates, such as ProRes 422 HQ, and fast continuous shooting speeds up to 40 fps with the electronic shutter or 15 fps with the mechanical shutter. The processor also contributes to improved autofocus, a 14-stop dynamic range, and a broad sensitivity range of ISO 160-12800.

Impressive Video Capabilities:

Internal Recording: The X-H2S offers versatile internal recording capabilities, including DCI/UHD 4K at up to 120p, Full HD at up to 240p, and an open-gate 3:2 6.2K setting suitable for anamorphic applications. Various codecs are supported, such as H.265 and three tiers of ProRes (422 HQ, 422, and 422 LT). Continuous recording for up to 90 minutes is possible at all frame rates and resolutions.

External Raw Recording: By utilizing the full-size HDMI port, the camera supports raw video recording with compatible external recorders. ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW formats are supported, along with F-Log or F-Log 2 profiles. Raw recording can be performed in resolutions up to 6.2K.

Enhanced Autofocus and Image Stabilization:

Hybrid AF with Deep Learning AI: The X-H2S features a highly improved autofocus system with 425 phase-detection points, capable of focusing down to -7 EV in low-light conditions. Backed by deep learning AI, the system can detect and track a wide range of subjects, including human faces, eyes, and even objects like cars, planes, and animals.

In-Body Image Stabilization: The built-in 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization provides up to 7 stops of compensation for camera shake. This benefits both still photography and video recording, particularly when shooting in challenging lighting conditions. Digital image stabilization can also be employed during video recording for additional stability.
