Built on the renowned ZEISS Tessar optical concept, this lens incorporates a 12-element, 10-group design that not only ensures a compact lens size but also minimizes flaring, distortion, and chromatic aberrations.
The constant f/4 maximum aperture guarantees consistent performance throughout the zoom range and provides precise control over focus position when using shallow depth of field techniques.
With a rounded seven-blade diaphragm, this lens delivers a pleasing bokeh quality when employing selective focus techniques.

To enhance image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity, ZEISS T* anti-reflective coatings are applied to each lens surface, effectively reducing reflections and improving overall image quality.
